SCOTUSblog founder Tom Goldstein filed a motion on Monday asking a federal court in Maryland to invalidate two orders suspending the statute of limitations for certain alleged offenses related to the 2016 tax year.
The motion, filed in the US District Court for the District of Maryland, says that declarations submitted in support of certain applications to suspend the statute of limitations for the alleged offenses were based on “material misrepresentations and outright falsehoods.”
