GM Must Face Most Claims in Diesel Truck Fuel Pump Defect Suit

General Motors LLC must face most claims in a proposed class suit over allegedly flawed fuel pumps in some GMC and Chevrolet diesel trucks, but a Michigan federal court trimmed the suit’s claims.

The class allegations also withstood dismissal, as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan said Wednesday it would be premature to strike them.

Some 21 named plaintiffs sued GM over its use of the Robert Bosch GmbH CP4 fuel pump in model year 2011-2016 GMC and Chevrolet diesel trucks.
