An Illinois judge grilled attorneys Friday over the city of Chicago’s claims that Glock Inc. and two local gun dealers should be prohibited from selling Chicagoans pistols that can be easily modified to function like machine guns.
Cook County Associate Judge Allen Walker pressed Chicago’s lawyers during oral arguments on whether any statute actually bars gun makers from manufacturing a gun that is easily converted, drilling down on claims that Glock deceptively marketed their guns as safe.
