Prosecutors are asking that convicted felon Tom Girardi be sentenced to 14 years in federal prison, according to a memo filed Friday.
They are also seeking almost $3.8 million in restitution from Girardi, whose firm was hauled into bankruptcy in 2020. The 85-year-old former legal giant made famous by the “Erin Brockovich” film and his appearances on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” was convicted of four counts of wire fraud in August after a jury heard he ran a massive Ponzi scheme and stole millions from his clients.
