Attorneys prosecuting Thomas Girardi’s criminal fraud case again missed the first opportunity Wednesday to define for the jury the contours of a settlement agreement with a former client, agreements on which the case may hinge.
The defense revealed during cross examination that there were two settlement agreements, not one, for this client, and that Girardi may have made a signing error on one — possibly signaling his cognitive decline.
