Former Girardi Keese clients trying to hold the California State Bar accountable for its deep ties to convicted ex-attorney Tom Girardi and his firm were given a final opportunity to amend and refile claims in L.A. state court.

Judge Stuart M. Rice found the claims that focused solely on Girardi’s relationships with the Bar, at the heart of the most recent complaint, to be insufficient on Thursday.
