Giant, Frito-Lay Facing New Worker Wage Suits Over Kronos Hack

Giant Co. LLC and Frito-Lay North America Inc. were hit with separate lawsuits from employees who say they were underpaid when the companies’ timekeeping and payroll systems were hacked in 2021.

The proposed class and collective actions are the latest in a wave of wage-and-hour lawsuits filed against employers in the aftermath of a ransomware attack against human resources company Ultimate Kronos Group, which was disclosed in December 2021.
