Two Georgians failed to revive their case Monday seeking to force the state’s secretary of state to act after they claimed to find voter roll discrepancies.
While the plaintiffs argued that their confidence in elections being undermined is an injury specific enough for them to proceed because they have “unique knowledge and experience with the state different from any other member of the public,” the US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit Judge Elizabeth L. Branch said the pair’s argument “misunderstands our standing doctrine.”
