Generac Holdings Inc. and two top executives allegedly misled investors about sales prospects for its generator products over a four-month period, according to a shareholder class action.

The Waukesha, Wis.-based company, CEO Aaron Jagdfeld, and CFO York Ragen allegedly downplayed the impact that inflation would have on the business, indicating in May that sales would improve in the second half of 2023, according to the complaint filed Tuesday in US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
