Garth Brooks’ former makeup and hair stylist sued the best-selling country artist for sexual assault and battery on Thursday in Los Angeles state court.
The stylist, who filed under a Jane Roe pseudonym, said Brooks sexually assaulted her on a 2019 work trip to L.A. and continued to attack her physically and verbally in the months that followed, taking advantage of her financial hardship.
Roe identified Brooks in her California Superior Court, Los Angeles County complaint as the celebrity who, using the pseudonym John Doe, filed a September lawsuit against her in Mississippi federal court to silence her.
