A former Gap Inc. employee filed a lawsuit in federal court Thursday alleging disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, and retaliation under federal and New York laws.
Richard Chisholm, who suffers from diabetes and a prostate condition, alleges he repeatedly requested reasonable accommodations, such as snack breaks, restroom access, and recovery time after hypoglycemic episodes, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
