An electric control systems manufacturer failed to convince a federal court that Futaba Corporation of America was aware of two out of three allegedly-infringed car software patents.
UUSI, LLC—which does business as Nartron—can no longer pursue indirect infringement claims asserting Futaba had pre- and post-lawsuit knowledge about its ‘185 and ‘762 patents, Judge Susan K. DeClercq said Tuesday in her decision for the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan granting Futaba’s motion to dismiss four claims in Nartron’s suit.
