Frito-Lay Inc. settled a Black employee’s claim that he received biased job assignments while working at the company’s Topeka, Kan., warehouse, federal court records show.
The US District Court for the District of Kansas dismissed Donnell Brooks’ race discrimination lawsuit under 42 U.S.C. §1981 and Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act on Wednesday. That came after Frito-Lay and Brooks filed a stipulation with the court, asking it to dismiss all of Brooks’ claims in the February 2021 suit with prejudice.
The court was previously notified that the case had settled, according to the docket sheet.
