Fox News filed a public records lawsuit against Los Angeles County to obtain documents it says the county is withholding related to its contract with voting technology company Smartmatic Corp.
The complaint against the county comes weeks after a New York appellate court ordered parent company Fox Corp. to face a $2.7 billion defamation suit by Smartmatic over a widely-debunked conspiracy theory that the company rigged the 2020 US presidential election.
