A former Tiffany & Co. employee who brought disability discrimination and hostile work environment claims, among others, must arbitrate her claims against the company because she signed a valid dispute resolution agreement as a condition of her employment, a federal judge ruled.
The plaintiff worked for the company between 2014 and 2022, rising from a sales professional to store manager. She sued after she was terminated for failing to return to work as required in the wake of surgery on her right foot that had resulted in her being off work for several months on short-term disability.
