A former Spotify USA Inc. accounting manager is suing the audio streaming company and her supervisor for racial and disability discrimination, claiming she was passed over for promotions and fired after complaining about alleged unequal treatment.
Michelle Atkins, who is Black, claims she was paid less than White male colleagues and subjected to a hostile work environment before she was terminated in February, according to her complaint filed Friday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
