Former NOW Vice President’s Race Bias Suit Can Head to Jury

The National Organization for Women was denied summary judgment on a former vice president’s lawsuit alleging she was removed from office because of her race.

Gilda Yazzie, a Native American woman, provided evidence that would allow a jury to find she was removed because of her race and not the performance issues NOW’s board cited, the US District Court for the District of Columbia said Monday.
