A former Illinois obstetrician faces professional misconduct charges in more than 50 lawsuits accusing the doctor of drunkenness on the job and disrobing to display his tattoos to patients.
Former patients of Vernon Cannon, a former DuPage Medical Group Ltd. doctor, are suing him for battery and providing them with medical services while intoxicated. On Thursday Illinois Circuit Associate Judge Patrick Heneghan heard about one of the cases filed against Cannon, which alleged the he touched a former patient in her most private areas and that he was intoxicated while providing her with medical services. ...
