Former Google Salesman Sues Over Commission, Life Insurance

A former salesman with Google LLC alleges the company violated federal and state laws by denying him millions of dollars in commissions, firing him, and canceling his life insurance coverage after he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

Peter Martin was entitled to a $2 million commission from a $35 million deal he negotiated with Otis Elevator, as well as a $4 million life insurance policy, according to the suit filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut.
