Former Foxtrot Worker Drops Class Suit Over Sudden Layoffs

A former retail worker dropped a proposed class action over the swift collapse of Foxtrot and Dom’s Market, a case that has been frozen for over a year following a bankruptcy filing.

Former retail worker Jamil Moore sued the companies on behalf of other employees who were terminated, alleging that they were fired immediately and didn’t receive 60 days’ notice as required by the federal and Illinois Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act. Moore filed a notice of voluntary dismissal Nov. 7 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
