Former Foley Hoag IT Worker Brings Collective Action Over Wages

A former support technician with Foley Hoag LLP is bringing a collective action against the law firm in federal court for what he claims are “egregious” wage and hour law violations.

Former support technician Gregory Modny, who was employed by Foley in New York City from July 2022 through June 2024, says the firm deprived him and his colleagues of fair wages and overtime pay; improperly deducted wages for meal breaks; and failed to make timely payments, all in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
