Former Delta Airlines Recruiter Drops Race Discrimination Suit

A Black ex-employee of Delta Airlines Inc. decided to stop pursuing a lawsuit claiming he was fired after repeatedly raising concerns about his experiences with race bias and pay discrepancies.

Alex Barr told the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia that he was voluntarily dismissing his case with prejudice. Barr sued Delta in November 2024 under Title VII and Section 1981, alleging the airline unlawfully underpaid, retaliated, and discriminated against him.
