Former Baltimore state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby was sentenced Thursday to time served followed by three years of supervised release with the first 12 months on home confinement following her convictions in separate trials for perjury and loan fraud.
She’ll also need to perform 100 hours of community service.
Prosecutors had asked for a 20-month prison sentence, emphasizing Mosby’s apparent lack of contrition. Mosby—whose lawyer acknowledged has already launched a very public campaign for a presidential pardon—wanted time served with one year of supervised release.
Mosby waived making any statement at the sentencing hearing.
