Former ‘Arsenio Hall Show’ Music Director Gets Time for Fraud

A former musical director for “The Arsenio Hall Show” and the United Nations was sentenced to 27 months in federal prison for embezzling almost $1 million from a charity, prosecutors announced.

Robin DiMaggio, a professional drummer who was arrested in December 2018 and pleaded guilty Sept. 25, was accused of ripping off the Bulgarian charity, which was intended to raise money to help kids made homeless by warfare. He was accused of vowing to set up a star-studded charity show, and then failing to follow through with his promises.
