A federal judge in Texas is tossing a Houston-area businessman’s foreign bribery convictions, he told the parties at a status conference on Monday.
The case against Ramon Alexandro Rovirosa Martinez—who would have been sentenced later this month—was the first to be filed after President Donald Trump’s 180-day pause on new Foreign Corrupt Practices Act enforcement was lifted last June.
