Football Players Settle Sexual Assault Claims With Norfolk State

Norfolk State University has settled allegations by former members of its football team that the school “created a culture” that enabled sexual assault and hazing of younger football players, according to a notice filed in federal court Wednesday.

Counsel for the plaintiffs, Diane Toscano, in Virginia Beach, Va., said the terms of the agreements reached in the two separate cases filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia are confidential.
