Foley Hoag LLP will pay $50,000 to a former tech support worker to end his claims that the law firm violated wage laws.
Judge Jesse M. Furman, of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, said the settlement of the Fair Labor Standards Act claims is “fair and reasonable,” given the nature and scope of Gregory Modny’s claim as well as the risks involved in additional litigation.
