Flowers Foods Delivery Drivers Finalize $23.1 Million Wage Deal

A $23.1 million settlement between Flowers Foods Inc., which makes Wonder Bread and Tastykake, and nearly 120 delivery drivers in Maine received final approval from a federal judge, resolving nearly seven years of Fair Labor Standards Act litigation.

The drivers will split $9 million, with each receiving an individual payment based on their actual damages. The average individual payment is $75,500, and most drivers will receive between $24,000 and $100,000. Lead plaintiff Timothy Noll will receive a $10,000 service award.
