The IRS sued a Florida surgeon and his spouse for allegedly owing $447,000 in liabilities, seeking to enforce federal tax liens against their property in Fleming Island, Fla.
Deron Ottey, a surgeon, reported tax liability for his 2015 tax year but failed to pay what was due, the US said. Then, filing jointly, Deron and Christine Wilson-Ottey failed to pay the tax they reported in full for 2019 and 2020, the complaint said.
