Pollo Operations, Inc., a Florida restaurant chain, has been sued by a disabled former employee for alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Giovanni Matus, who has autism spectrum disorder, says Pollo Operations, known as Pollo Tropical, failed to provide reasonable accommodations for his disability during his training and subsequently terminated his employment because of discriminatory stereotypes.
