Florida Law Banning Gun Sales to Young People Gets Upheld (1)

A Florida law banning gun sales to people under 21 is constitutional, a divided Eleventh Circuit said Friday.

“The Florida law is consistent with our historical tradition of firearm regulation,” Judge William Pryor said for the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit majority.

The court denied the National Rifle Association’s request to block enforcement of the statute.
