Florida Beats Most Claims in University DEI Funding Limits Suit

A federal judge largely dismissed a lawsuit by Florida university professors challenging the state’s restrictions on education funding, reducing what began as a litany of claims from multiple plaintiffs to a single surviving claim from just one professor.

The suing professors failed to allege facts demonstrating standing for nearly each of their claims, Judge Mark E. Walker said Thursday while dismissing the majority of claims.
