Bloomin’ Brands Inc. was hit with a lawsuit by a former Fleming’s server who says he and other tipped employees were cheated out of minimum wages because the restaurant group improperly took a tip-credit from their hourly pay.
Alexander Brusalis, who waited tables at a Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar located in Scottsdale, Arizona, sued the company and its subsidiary for alleged tip-credit violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the state wage law.
