Fishermen Sue to Block Massachusetts Offshore Wind Project

The Biden administration violated federal law by approving an offshore wind energy project near Nantucket, Mass., that will likely shut out commercial fishing in the project area, fishermen and -women told a Washington, D.C., federal court Wednesday.

The federal government failed to comply with the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act, and other environmental laws in reviewing and approving the Vineyard Wind project, the lawsuit says.
