Florida Man, Woman Accused of Impersonating Fisher Investments

A man and woman have been indicted for allegedly impersonating Fisher Investments in order to trick people into wiring them a total of more than $2.9 million.

The indictment, filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida, charges Salvatore Carpanzano and Heather Fisher with fraud conspiracy and money laundering.

The real Fisher Investments, together with its affiliates, manages over $332 billion for private and institutional clients.
