Fiserv Gets Fired Worker’s Age Bias Case Booted to Arbitration

Fiserv Inc. and a subsidiary won a bid to halt a former employee’s court case alleging age and disability discrimination after a federal judge said an arbitrator must decide where the claims belong.

The worker’s arbitration agreement with the financial services technology company includes a clause that delegates disputes over whether something belongs in arbitration to an arbitrator, not a judge, the US District Court for the Central District of California said.
