A Boston firefighter who had religious objections to the city’s Covid-19 vaccine verification and testing protocols can move forward with many of his claims against the city.
Michael Browder’s allegations that Boston and Tammy Pust, the city’s interim director of labor relations, violated the First Amendment’s free exercise clause and committed Title VII race discrimination are sufficient to advance, Judge Angel Kelley of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts said Wednesday.
