Three Trump appointees removed from the Air Force Academy’s Board of Visitors by the Biden administration lost their bid Friday to revive their claims, the DC Circuit said.
The lawsuit, joined by Sean Spicer, and Reps. Ralph Norman (R-SC) and Mark Green (R-TN), challenged the Department of Defense’s decision to suspend the Boards of Visitors for three military academies pending a zero-based review and sought reinstatement of the Air Force Board appointees. Heidi Stirrup, Douglas Lengenfelder, and Robert A. Gleason Jr, the Air Force appointees, would’ve served until 2023 had they not been removed.
