Planned Parenthood Federation of America Inc. must face a Jewish former employee’s claims she was fired for complaining about anti-Semitism and “microaggressions” toward Jewish workers, a Manhattan federal judge ruled.
That Ilana Gamza-Machado de Souza raised those concerns in connection with her push to form a Jewish employee resource group at the reproductive health-care organization didn’t mean her actions fell short of protected activity under federal, state, or city law, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
