Fireball Cinnamon Malt Beverage Buyer Drops His Deception Suit

A California consumer has voluntarily dismissed, for now, a suit alleging Sazerac Co. deceptively tries to pass off its Fireball Cinnamon malt beverage as its flagship Fireball Whisky.

Damien Patterson filed a proposed class suit in the US District Court for the Eastern District of California, alleging that “Fireball Cinnamon” is just a whisky-flavored product and has a lower alcohol content than real Fireball Whisky.
