Claims that the fintech company Bondex and an executive violated federal and state securities laws were dismissed without prejudice by a federal judge for failing to adequately support the allegations with specific facts.
Tamim Khan’s “allegations lack sufficient factual predicate to support the claims asserted in the Complaint,” Judge Kathleen M. Williams of the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida wrote in an Oct. 18 opinion. The court also said Khan could amend and refile his complaint.
