Fifth Circuit Upholds Ban on Gun Ownership for Noncitizens

Undocumented immigrants in the US are prohibited from possessing a firearm, a federal appeals court said Tuesday, rejecting a renewed argument that gun rights in the constitution extend to all people, not just citizens.

By a 3-0 vote, a panel on the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, said a recent Supreme Court decision in United States v.
