Fifth Circuit Cancels West Texas A&M Drag Show Ban Arguments

The Fifth Circuit called off oral arguments in West Texas A&M University’s cancellation of a campus drag show Tuesday after the trial court wrapped up the underlying case with unusual speed in handing the school a win.

On the calendar for almost three months, the arguments set for Friday in New Orleans are no longer needed, Chief Judge Jennifer Elrod wrote in a one-page order.
