Fidelity National Misclassified System Administrators, Suit Says

Fidelity National Financial Inc. was hit with a lawsuit alleging it improperly classified systems administrators as exempt workers and failed to pay them overtime wages, according to a new lawsuit in federal court in Delaware.

Stuart Bartek alleges he worked for Fidelity as a systems administrator and regularly worked more than 40 hours per week, but the title insurance provider improperly classified him and others as exempt from overtime pay requirements in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, the lawsuit filed Wednesday says.
