A paint shop “floater” at an FCA US LLC truck assembly factory who was repeatedly late without sufficient notice failed to link her mental health condition and use of medical leave to her suspensions and eventual termination.

Latrice Crispell was disciplined under the attendance policy included in the collective bargaining agreement between the company and the United Auto Workers, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan said.
