Eurochem North America Corp. violated the nation’s primary commercial chemicals law by failing to report to the EPA billions of pounds of imported chemicals, an environmental group alleged in a complaint filed Monday.
The Center for Environment Health (CEH) filed a citizen enforcement suit asking the US District Court for the District of Columbia to order Eurochem to comply with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) by reporting billions of pounds of fertilizer chemicals it allegedly imported in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
