Female Meta Employee Advances Promotion Denial, Harassment Suit

Meta Platforms Inc. must face a former marketing employee’s claims that she was denied promotion because she’s a woman, subjected to sexual harassment, and retaliated against for opposing job bias, a Seattle federal judge ruled.

The company was wrong that the harassment allegations failed for a lack of severe or pervasive abuse that occurred within the timeframe for suing, the US District Court for the Western District of Washington said.
