FedEx Hit With Sexual Harassment, Assault Claims in EEOC Suit (1)

Federal Express Corp. subjected a longtime former employee to a sexually hostile work environment and fired her because of her sex, the EEOC said Thursday in a suit filed on the worker’s behalf.

The EEOC alleges that Tori Caillier’s supervisor made inappropriate comments and sexually assaulted her, the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana said. FedEx briefly suspended the supervisor but allowed him to return to work and interact with Caillier, then fired her more than a year later after she refused to work around him.
