US Border Patrol’s “Operation Return to Sender” sweep through predominantly Latino communities to arrest migrant farm workers violated the Fourth Amendment, a lawsuit filed in federal court by United Farm Workers says.

The week-long operation that ensnared almost 200 people was a “fishing expedition” conducted without probable cause, the complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of California says.
