Family Suing Hawaiian Private School Stay Unnamed Amid Threats

A mother and daughter who are members of an anti-affirmative action group can remain anonymous as they pursue racial bias claims against a Hawaiian private school that prefers to admit students of Hawaiian ancestry.

The plaintiffs presented enough risk of potential harm to proceed under their initials based on online commentary that’s threatened Students for Fair Admissions founder Edward Blum and the organization’s Hawaiian-based attorney, the US District Court for the District of Hawaii said in a Tuesday opinion.
